![]() Like locking the enemy weapon into yours, punching and kicking mid-combo (which you would do regurarly in combat) and adding injuries to ones limb. Given, there are multiple types of swords (Longswords, Short Sword, Scimitar etc.)īut there is some unused potential with axes and maces. I think too the fighting system favours swords a bit too much, since you get only a few combos for axes/maces and a long list of awesome, complicated and effective comboes for swords. Otherwise I think KCD is a lovely game, but I think I’ve hit my breaking point with this buggy mess.Įdit: I’ve gotten out of my stupor and cooler heads are prevailing. ![]() Why the hell are the most reknowned weapons the weakest? Whereas swords, a shitty secondary weapon, the equivalent to a fucking nuke? It’s absurd, and is honestly making me think of uninstalling for how bad and forced this combat system is. ![]() Even if they die you’re left with no stamina, easy for their million fucking buddies to lock you in a glitchy clinch where you constantly lose stamina and get hit. And when you do get a modicum of damage in, you have to wham on them until you run of out stamina, only for them to perfectly walk out of an axeblow to the spine and skull and instantly master stroke you. My playthrough before was a swordsman, and I could wipe out entire towns single-handed lay at 10 swordsmanship, but with axes, even the top tier played waraxe, it barely does any damage. If it’s supposed to be realistic, why do axes feel like paper mache sticks? I’m at max strength, agility, and axe, yet when even one non armored opponent, fuck, even naked ones come by, I barely dink off their fucking health bar. Every session wears on my patience from this otherwise beautiful game. Please use the report function sensibly.Įverytime I play this game I walk away from it loving it less.
